Dressing Up A Cupcake

Take cupcakes to a different level of elegance by dressing them up with a lace doily.  Simply cut the border off of a rectangular doily or circular doily, then use the lace ring to wrap around the body of a cupcake.  Cut and affix to the cupcake wrapper as needed.  Another alternative is to use ribbon or fabric strips as well.  These are great for any occasion, from birthdays to Valentine’s day, showers and even weddings!  When using ribbon, embellish it with small paper cut outs, small buttons or tiny silk flowers.  Even a simple cupcake can be dressed up for the fanciest of showers and parties!
