Sometimes you just feel like spending some time talking and laughing with your best friends. That sounds like the perfect time to plan and throw a party! After you send out the invitations, you’re inevitably going to be asked why are you throwing said party. Need an excuse? Here are some rather uncommon party ideas for each month of the year.
Planning a party can be stressful. Those last couple of moments until guests arrive, spent wondering if you have everything, and hoping that at least one person will show up… Wouldn’t it be nice to have the perfect party checklist so you could rest assured that everything was going to get done? Look no further. Here is the ultimate checklist for planning the perfect party.
One of the very best things about summertime is all the fresh produce available. Grocery stores are suddenly overflowing with piles of delectable-looking fruit, farmer’s markets attract crowds of shoppers hungry for seasonal, locally grown veggies, and “pick-your-own-produce” farm visits are in full swing, with more treats ripening every day.
If you have a backyard garden, you’re probably harvesting your own fresh fruits and veggies, as well, and enjoying that unbeatable homegrown flavor. But even if you don’t have a garden, why not celebrate this season of fresh fruits and veggies with a garden-themed party?
One of the most unique and fun aspects of holiday food is the seasonal color palette we use when making our festive spreads – St. Patrick’s Day has us eating and drinking green, Halloween calls for black and orange, and of course, for the 4th of July, we bring out the red, white, and blue.
So how can you incorporate these patriotic colors into your 4th of July party feast? With a little bit of creativity, it’s easy to wow your guests with tasty treats that show off your holiday spirit.
Who doesn’t love a good 4th of July celebration? The food, the fun, the patriotism, the friends and family…and of course, the fireworks! The 4th of July is the perfect holiday for getting together and having a blast outdoors. But rather than hosting the same old backyard barbecue this Independence Day, why not spice things up a bit with one of these unique takes on the 4th of July party? They’ll make this year’s celebration of our nation’s birthday one to remember.

Halloween parties are loads of fun for both kids and adults. Fact: You’re never too old to play dress up. I mean, there’s no law against running around town dressed in a costume on a daily basis, but if it’s for Halloween then let your creativity run wild. Do you remember The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (aka TMNT)? They became popular in the 90s and apparently have become the most current trend for young boys. Just this past weekend I attended a TMNT themed birthday party and it dawned on me that it could just as well have been a fun Halloween party!
